Everybody’s Right by Paolo Sorrentino

AULA Library

Paolo Sorrentino’s book is funny, snide, partially outrageous, delivering the story in a matter-of-fact, often cynical voice, a complainer’s lament; this a tale of decline. “We wanted poetry,” Sorrentino writes, “what we got was a bagful of aches and pains.” It is a view of things fading, once glamorous, once irresistible no longer.
