I looked at this book and it was so profane and deep and bad and so well written and I loved it and thought, what is with this teacher (because he was my teacher at the time I read it), he’s my favorite! Like when he talks about his mother killing flies, their wings and blood left like little accidents on the lace curtains, how he talks about liking the “soft metal odor of fly spray.” I like best the F’s. But he missed one: F for freak.
